Online matches against a friend. Create a room, send the link, and play. The match runs on a server rather than on either player’s machine, so neither has the advantage of hosting it, and both players choose their own champion. There is no matchmaking: the only way into a room is a code somebody gave you.
Full controller support. Anything on screen can be reached with a pad, found fresh each time rather than from a list per screen, so a control that appears is reachable the moment it does. B goes back.
A trophy and confetti for whoever wins, which the winner had been going without.
Analog movement — how far you push the stick is how fast you walk, rather than every push meaning a sprint.

The World Tour — a season of events across the thirty-two nations, with a ranking of your own and results that persist. It is reachable in the game but not finished.
